GURÚ

Hooola a todos! me pasé ahora si! una semana sin actualizar...Mil disculpas :) fue una semana un poco diferente! con muchos eventos familiares y nuevos planes para mi!..Quería compartirles una exposición que visité desde Diciembre junto con  mi hermano y mi mamá cuando visitamos la Galería Gurú en la colonia Roma, y me encontré con Amanda Visell: ilustradora y diseñadora, me encantó el hecho de que la gente considera que su carrera ha sido un poco peculiar por sus "fracasos". A mi no me parece así; porque gracias a todos esos "fracasos" como a la gente le gusta llamarle, ella hoy en día se encuentra en donde siempre quiso estar, diseñando e ilustrando o que le gusta hacer. Así que mas que fracaso yo diría que fue un golpe de suerte.

Hello everyone! i'm so sorry for not posting anything in one week! i have a tough, different but after all good week! with lots of family events and new plans for me! :) i wanted to share with you for so long this expo in "Galeria Gurú" wich i've visited since December. Her name is Amanda Visell a designer, sculptor and illustrator that is very known because of her multiple "failures" and drop outs in her career. The thing is i dont think at all like that, i think everything happens for a reason, and i would like to call those "failures" as good luck, because of that nowadays she's living and doing all the thing she has always loved to do.
 

"Everything Dies"

Me encantaron sus ilustraciones y la forma en que todos sus  pequeños dibujos forman parte de algo mayor, y su estilo tan de caricatura y un hasta un poco infantil me pareció increíble, diferente y fresco! Aparte de todo tiene un blog en el cual podemos conocer mas de su trabajo! Que mejor! Los que viven aquí en la ciudad de México ojalá pudieran darse una vuelta y observar su obra mas de cerca! Les dejo un poquito de la exposición que hizo especialmente para la Ciudad de México desde el mes de Noviembre. "Everything dies" Espero les guste!! Diganme que opinan! :)

 I really loved her illustrations and the way her drawings are part of something bigger as we see in the images the big illustrations is made of little drawings, i think its awesome! different and something refreshing to see!  She has also a blog that we all can visit to know more about her work.
