IT'S TIME.

Las mejores ideas y los mejores momentos surgen cuando menos los esperas. Estaba en mi casa pensando que más podía usar para mis fotos y encuentro este huipil de Zinacantán, un pueblo cerca de San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas. Para los que no saben y los que sí, les puedo decir que éste huipil que ahora es vestido para mí , está completamente tejido y después bordado a mano por artesanas de ésta región. Además de ser comodísimo, tiene un trabajo impresionante de bordado que luce donde quiera que estés. Me encantó el resultado! Tenemos tantas cosas tan únicas y valiosas aquí en México que porqué no usarlas?

The best ideas and the best moments arrive when you least expected. I was at my place thinking about what possibly could i wear for my next post, when suddenly i ran into this amazing mexican piece, its called "huipil" from a small town near San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas. For those who already knew and those who absolutely don't know what i'm talking about.. This is a 100% handmade blouse, but for me became a dress and its totally knitted and embroidered by mexican craftswomen from this town.

On top of being such a valuable piece, it is so comfy and i really liked the result of the outfit. I found myself thinking if we have so many unique and beautiful things to wear here in México, why not wearing them all?

TAKING SILENCE TO MAKE SOUND

Silencio Total se escuchaba en este lugar, de ese silencio que casi casi escuchas los pensamientos.... Siempre que pasaba por estas escaleras "secretas" me imaginaba que sería un lugar buenísimo para tomar fotos. Creo que se ha convertido en uno de mis lugares favoritos.

Además combina más que bien con el look de hoy, como verán una de mis prendas favoritas son los leggings, no vivo sin ellos! me parece que son comodísimos y podemos encontrar ahora cualquier tipo de leggings que nuestra imaginación pueda soportar. Desde hace tiempo, no se me van de la mente unos de galaxy print.....

Total Silence was the only sound you could hear in this place, it was the type of silence that could let you hear your own thoughts...... Every time i was driving through this secret stairway, i thought this would be an amazing place to take pictures, and it was.  Actually is one of my favorite places to be right now.

Besides, this landscape totally completes the outfit, with one of my favorite pair of leggings, Yes, the truth is i can´t live without leggings! i think they are so comfy and now you can have every type of leggings your mind can imagine and more!  I´m thinking a pair of galaxy print could fit in my closet very well...

Polos opuestos se atraen, y además se complementan... Si o si?

El ejemplo perfecto: mi chaleco y éste collar de plumas hecho en casa por mí.  A decir verdad, ésta onda polar en México, me trae loca! no sé si en verdad hace frío o no, así que muchas capas que puedas quitar y poner es la opción estos días.

Opposites atract, and they actually complement each other real good they really do.

The perfect example: my fur vest with my DIY feather necklace. This cold/hot weather in México is driving me crazy and sometimes i really don´t know what to wear! So layering is the best option for this kind of days.

Neon comes and goes.

Amo con locura las sudaderas estos días que en realidad, el frío no se sufre tanto aquí en México, así que taparse con una de éstas, es más que suficiente. Escogí combinarla con negro y con mis accesorios favoritos en éstos momentos: un collar grande y mis calcetitas como de primaria pero con más estilo.
Al fin es Viernes!! Lindo fin a todos!

I absolutely love sweatshirts these days that the cold isn´t that hard here in México, so wearing one of this, is more than enough to keep you warm. I chose to combine neon with black and my favorite accesories so far: A big necklace and my socks, which kind of remind me my old elementary school ones, but i have to say these ones got more style going on.

A veces vale la pena esperar, y vaya que me funcionó muy bien ayer! Quería desde hace días ya, cambiar un regalo de ZARA que no era mi talla, y me encontré con las rebajas de fin de temporada! así que mi blusa, se convirtió en éstos 2 increíbles pares! y el extra: mi diadema de Forever 21.

It was worth waiting this time! I wanted for days change a plaid shirt which was a gift i´ve got from my aunt from ZARA, but it wasn´t my size, so i decided to go change it and i ran into the sales!! so my shirt became this two amazing pair of heels! and the extra is my headband from Forever 21.

HOY: NY HOODIE.

Muchas veces lo que queremos, no es necesariamente lo que tenemos.. Todo el día esta frase estuvo conmigo.. En fin, yo quería luz del sol y me ganó la noche. Pero creo que las fotos quedaron mucho mejor que las que yo tenía en mente.

Lo inesperado puede ser bueno.

Combiné mi sudadera que compré en los puestitos de Times Square con mi falda de lentejuelas que hacía mucho no me la ponía (y mucho son años) pero debían ir juntas. 

¿Qué opinan de las fotos nocturnas?

Sometimes we don´t necessary have what we want.... These quote has been around my mind all day.... the thing is i wanted some sun light for my pictures and then the night came before i can even finish my photoshoot ... Anyway i think the pictures are better than i´d imagined.

Unexpected can be good. 

Today im wearing my NY hoodie i bought in Times Square street, and combined it with my old sequin skirt, i think they belong together.

Lentes tipo Yoko? Creen? Ja, eso me dijo un amigo por Instagram (Por cierto, siganme por ahí también!) No lo sé, ni si quiera pensé en ella cuando los compré, Talvez sea un look un poco más hippie, pero me gusta el hecho de sorprenderme con un accesorio nuevo que cambia el look completamente! Podría decirles que años atrás jamás paso por mi mente usar unos así... Los tiempos cambian! que bueno porque de verdad que me encantan, pienso usarlos muchísimo! También aprovecho y les presento uno de mis collares preferidos neon! lo amé desde que lo ví. Les gustan o los odian?

Yoko's sunglasses? Do u think so? A friend of mine wrote me that, on Instagram (Btw follow me on Instagram too! )  I really don't know, and i didn´t even think about her when i bought them, maybe this is a little hippie, but the fact is that i love how accesories can change a complete look. I could say, years ago i would never imagine me using these type of sunglasses, but thank god, time changes! and i absolutely love them! I´m pretending to wear them a lot! Also let  me introduce to you one of my favorites neon necklaces ever i loved it since i saw it!
