WHITE LIGHT

Me visto como me siento y hoy sólo quiero vestirme de blanco.. no por delirios de boda jaja.. sino por que es el color que mejor describe mi humor estos días.

Además combina perfecto con  éste collar 100% mexicano hecho de cochitas de mar. 

Por cierto, me voy a la playa mañana!

I  dress up depending on how I'm feeling. These days i just want to wear white.. don't think it has something to do with wedding thoughts..   it has to do more with my mood.. kind of hippie mood.

Besides, i wanted to show you guys this cute necklace 100% mexican-design made of sea shells.

FLOWERS IN MY HEAD

   Dicen por ahí que todo depende con el cristal con el que lo miras, y no me queda duda de que es verdad. Hace tiempo ya que este huipil vivía conmigo, pero no fue hasta que me lo probé que surgió el amor otra vez jaja. No había querido ver todo lo maravilloso de ésta prenda,  tanto tiempo escondida... y todo cambió al usarlo.
Aveces hay que tomarse el tiempo, parar un poco y ver el verdadero valor de lo importante.

They say that all depends with the view you look at things, today i felt this absolutely true. Some time ago i've bought this gorgeous huipil and used to live with me, but everything changed when i tried it on and felt in love again. I could not see this treasure i had, but now i saw the light!.

Las mejores ideas y los mejores momentos surgen cuando menos los esperas. Estaba en mi casa pensando que más podía usar para mis fotos y encuentro este huipil de Zinacantán, un pueblo cerca de San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas. Para los que no saben y los que sí, les puedo decir que éste huipil que ahora es vestido para mí , está completamente tejido y después bordado a mano por artesanas de ésta región. Además de ser comodísimo, tiene un trabajo impresionante de bordado que luce donde quiera que estés. Me encantó el resultado! Tenemos tantas cosas tan únicas y valiosas aquí en México que porqué no usarlas?

The best ideas and the best moments arrive when you least expected. I was at my place thinking about what possibly could i wear for my next post, when suddenly i ran into this amazing mexican piece, its called "huipil" from a small town near San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas. For those who already knew and those who absolutely don't know what i'm talking about.. This is a 100% handmade blouse, but for me became a dress and its totally knitted and embroidered by mexican craftswomen from this town.

On top of being such a valuable piece, it is so comfy and i really liked the result of the outfit. I found myself thinking if we have so many unique and beautiful things to wear here in México, why not wearing them all?

TAKING SILENCE TO MAKE SOUND

Silencio Total se escuchaba en este lugar, de ese silencio que casi casi escuchas los pensamientos.... Siempre que pasaba por estas escaleras "secretas" me imaginaba que sería un lugar buenísimo para tomar fotos. Creo que se ha convertido en uno de mis lugares favoritos.

Además combina más que bien con el look de hoy, como verán una de mis prendas favoritas son los leggings, no vivo sin ellos! me parece que son comodísimos y podemos encontrar ahora cualquier tipo de leggings que nuestra imaginación pueda soportar. Desde hace tiempo, no se me van de la mente unos de galaxy print.....

Total Silence was the only sound you could hear in this place, it was the type of silence that could let you hear your own thoughts...... Every time i was driving through this secret stairway, i thought this would be an amazing place to take pictures, and it was.  Actually is one of my favorite places to be right now.

Besides, this landscape totally completes the outfit, with one of my favorite pair of leggings, Yes, the truth is i can´t live without leggings! i think they are so comfy and now you can have every type of leggings your mind can imagine and more!  I´m thinking a pair of galaxy print could fit in my closet very well...

El ejemplo perfecto: mi chaleco y éste collar de plumas hecho en casa por mí.  A decir verdad, ésta onda polar en México, me trae loca! no sé si en verdad hace frío o no, así que muchas capas que puedas quitar y poner es la opción estos días.

Opposites atract, and they actually complement each other real good they really do.

The perfect example: my fur vest with my DIY feather necklace. This cold/hot weather in México is driving me crazy and sometimes i really don´t know what to wear! So layering is the best option for this kind of days.

Neon comes and goes.

Amo con locura las sudaderas estos días que en realidad, el frío no se sufre tanto aquí en México, así que taparse con una de éstas, es más que suficiente. Escogí combinarla con negro y con mis accesorios favoritos en éstos momentos: un collar grande y mis calcetitas como de primaria pero con más estilo.

I absolutely love sweatshirts these days that the cold isn´t that hard here in México, so wearing one of this, is more than enough to keep you warm. I chose to combine neon with black and my favorite accesories so far: A big necklace and my socks, which kind of remind me my old elementary school ones, but i have to say these ones got more style going on.

COLOR MADNESS

 Siempre me han gustado en exceso los leggings, talvez sea porque los pantalones siempre me quedan grandes y muy rara vez encuentro unos que me queden perfectos a la primera. Cuando ví éstos con huesitos no lo pude evitar! Aunque la gente piensa que ando de Halloween a mí me parecen increíbles y diferentes!   Lo que suelo escuchar de mis amigas es: No es mi estilo, jamás me lo pondría jajajajaja  pero nunca digas nunca.

Estas fotografías son mis favoritas hasta ahora! He encontrado a mi fotógrafa oficial (mi prima Eli ) por cierto: Gracias!! y creo que juntas hacemos buen equipo para el blog no creen? mucho mejor que el tripie y yo por seguro.

I´ve always liked to wear leggings better than pants or trousers, maybe because they fit me a lot better, thanks to my height, so when my eyes first saw this pair, i couldn't help it! even though people think i´m on halloween sometimes; i love them! because they´re so different don´t you think? I usually hear from my girlfriends phrases like " Its not my style i would never wear something like that!" But never say never.

                              Ayer sólo tenía ganas de ponerme un suéter largo para el frío y todo lo demás se fue armando sólo... Les ha pasado? Que en el momento que menos lo esperas llega inspiración solita. A veces los posts que menos planeas suelen ser los que mejor salen y se me sale lo cursi como con éstas fotos. ¿Ya vieron 3 metros sobre el Cielo? creo que de ahí se me pegó...no dejo de pensar en esa pelí.

Yesterday I only wanted to wear a warm sweater for the cold weather, and evertyhting else came along for itself, sometimes inspiration can appear when you least expected.. and post can be crazy good like these one! and a little cheesy. Have you seen the spanish movie 3 steps above heaven? i think i got it from there because i can´t stop thinking about this movie.
